Is an Okami Siberian Husky for me?

These dogs are bred to run and pull a sled (Mush) and unlike most other animals, (humans included) they love to work and work hard.

They are extremely affectionate and friendly and physical interaction by you and your family is a big part of their life to keep them normal and happy.

This means your Okami Siberian Husky is going to need...

A good sized back yard to run in. These are not your typical "kennel" dog as they have a seemingly limitless supply of energy and need to expel that during the day, so an apartment is definitely not Husky territory.

Regular walks even with a reasonable sized back yard are a must-do. They need to get out into the open spaces on a long leash, or confined areas such as a dog park in order to be able to burn off that energy.

Some regular attention from you every day. The animal should be part of your family.

The Okami Siberian Husky, is a great pet will respond well to basic training; they can quickly learn to be a responsible member of your family.
